 Drivers for Versapro VG and VS. VG is the foldable notebook, 0.8 kg. VS is the tablet with kyboad, 0.9 kg + 0.3 kg keyboard.

Get the memory card drivers. Use Intel  https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html for the other Intel drivers e.g. Display. The VG display driver need to be downloaded from NEC website.

That is how I knew that there might be a pen. Fingerprint and modem are not avaliable with the version from Shopee.

Usage 

 This tablet is heavy. Although equipped with i5 gen 7, this cpu is a low power version and therefore so slow.

 

 

Xiaomi 33W 10,000mAh Power Bank

Xiaomi 33W 10,000mAh Power Bank is used to charge this tablet so is more convenient than the foldable notebook, VG version.

Its sound is too soft and tinny. A small external Bluetooth speaker is good enough to match the sound of my mobile phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

The kick-stand of this tablet makes it useful to be used on beds that I use just before sleeping or just resting, unlike standard notebooks because of the poor bottom ventilation. The foldable notebook the VG version does not suffer from poor ventilation but the attached keyboard made it bulky on a bed so I tend to put it on my chest and bent knees.

In my bedroom I have a large Hyperbar sound bar Bluetooth speaker to enhance its sound. The small power bank allows charging while on my bed.

Usually my phone is used while I am on my bed but with the tablet, I get a bigger screen although not as sharp because it is only 1080p and not AMOLED unlike my phone. Not a big loss because data speed doesn't permit high resolution. Placing the phone near the window should improve radio reception thus increasing data speed because I use the phone as a WiFi hotspot.

I have given away my i5 2013 11 inch MacBook Air that has 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD. It is equipped with a retina display and gen 4 processor making it not so fast any more. It is also heavy at 1.2 kg to put on my chest. The VS tablet has a 12.5 inch 16:9 wide screen so appears larger. Putting the task bar to the sides help maximise useful the screen sizing.
