Replacing Zbook 15 Keyboard
I got my refurbished Zbook 15 with a non-backlit keyboard. It is also not well because I need to press hard a few times before some keys are are active. Otherwise they cannot register any key stroke. I got a replacement backlit keyboard from Aliexpress. GZEELE-new-English-laptop-keyboard-FOR-HP-for-ZBOOK-15-17-G1-G2-PK130TK1A00 I managed to install the keyboard but after I had destroyed the backlight and track point button ribbon connector. I should have watched this video carefully. The service manual does not warn me of the ribbon connector lock and how to detach the keyboard. It only mentioned about using a thin device to pry open the keyboard.
