The cheapest eGPU < RM30 successfully installed
As I had thought, it should be possible to install the cheapest eGPU cards because they are just extensions of the PCIE wires from the notebook to the PCIE socket. The problem was in installing drivers. When I installed my fanless ATI HD3450 graphic card to the cheapest eGPU cards, initially my system crashed. On booting in safe mode, I disabled a duplicated internal graphic card driver. I dare not disable all internal graphic cards because the monitor on my notebook, an Acer 5553 notebook is faulty. It was suggested by a youtuber to disable the internal graphics chip in order to use the eGPU to display on the notebook, instead of displaying directly to an external monitor.
